Plus Cycling Specific 3D Printed Bespoke Insoles

£240

The optimal biking position is naturally different for every individual and not only depends on your own personal body composition, agility, and strength but also on the type of cycling you do – for example, as a mountain biker you’ll adopt a different position than you would if you were a road or time trial rider.

Crucial to finding your perfect biking position is having adequate foot support – without it, you run the risk of tingling feet and knee tendinitis, poor posture, pelvic instability, and lower back problems.

Which is why we’re proud to offer the very latest in Phits 3D printed insole technology to enable us to deliver a dedicated foot and foot motion analysis service. The system maps and records the precise movement of your feet whilst cycling and a 3D printer then transforms this data into a completely bespoke insole - designed exclusively for you.

Because the insoles are based on your individual movement patterns, they ensure your foot mechanics are completely optimised and your entire body and its functioning is fully supported – guaranteeing enhanced power transfer to the pedals, increased lower limb stability, and better saddle posture.

Shoe & Cleat Set-Up

£50

Your feet are the single most important linking point between your body and your bike – with the way you transfer power through the cleat apparatus and your shoe’s connection with the pedals vital to ensuring the correct biking position.

If you’ve recently changed your cycling shoes or would like to improve your existing cleat set up without investing in our full bike fitting service, then we can support you to identify your individual foot mechanics and cleat position. Both of which are hugely important factors to consider when it comes to avoiding instability on the pedal, overuse of the calf musculature, and uncomfortable foot ‘hotspots’.

Our physiotherapists will identify how you ride, and will then use our state-of-the-art IdMatch Cleat Fit system to transfer your individual feet measurements directly onto the sole of your shoe. Using a targeted laser beam, we can perfectly position the axis of the pedal under the shoe’s sole – giving a wholly accurate alignment of the cleat with the pedal’s axis. A goniometer on the cleats verifies the distance between the cleat and the heel as well as the rotation of the cleat in respect of the longitudinal axis of the shoe.
